Depart Delhi and drive west into Rajasthan, reaching Mandawa by mid-afternoon. This town in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan is famous for its brightly painted Havelis which were built by successful merchants and traders over several centuries. Mandawa is a small town, largely free of vehicle traffic which lends itself to on-foot exploration. Overnight in Mandawa.

Morning sightseeing of Mandawa, and later drive to Bikaner, a true desert outpost boasting one of the most impressive forts in Rajasthan. Tour the Fort and Camel Breeding Centre in the afternoon. Overnight in Bikaner.

Morning visit to the (in)famous Karnimata temple at Deshnok. This truly unique place is universally known as the ‘Rat Temple’ due to the feeding of rodents which live here and are revered as sacred deities. While it is without doubt an unforgettable place to visit, it is not an experience for everyone! Later in the day drive to Jaisalmer in the far west of Rajasthan, on arrival in Jaisalmer check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Jaisalmer.

The ‘Golden City’ of Jaisalmer is dominated by its Fort, a fairy tale structure which seems to rise directly from the endless expanse of desert surrounding the city. Tour this most storied site with a guide and spend time in the afternoon exploring the Old City area and sandstone havelis on foot. In the evening visit Sand Dunes where you can ride a camel up the dunes to view spectacular desert sunset. Overnight in hotel at Jaisalmer.

Drive to Osiyan and visit the impressive Hindu and Jain temples here then continue on to the ‘Blue City’, Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Sightseeing in the morning includes an extensive tour of Meherangarh Fort, Umaid bhawan and local artisan bazars. Overnight at hotel in Jodhpur.

After breakfast proceed to Udaipur truly beautiful as the road traverses lush valleys dotted with streams and tumbling waterfalls. On arrival check in to hotel. Morning drive to Pushkar, a small and very sacred town clustered around the shores of a lake. Explore the town on foot in the afternoon. Overnight in Pushkar.

Depart Pushkar and head to Jaipur, the ‘Pink City’ and capital of modern-day Rajasthan. Upon arrival check in to hotel. Later in the afternoon sightseeing of various monuments and tourist spots in Jaipur visiting City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar & local Bazars. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, Sightseeing of Amber Fort which is located in Amer, a town with an area of 4 square kilometres at a distance of approximately 11 kilometres from Jaipur on way back to Delhi. It is Located high on a hill, the principal tourist attraction in the Jaipur area. Later proceed to Delhi 265kms. Arrive at Delhi. Transfer to International airport to catch flight back home.
